RSS is a syndication, or content distribution, mechanism. In short, it is a special text-based format for articles and content of all sorts. Putting articles in this format allows a wide variety of RSS Readers (ranging from email-like applications you can install on your computer to personal portals like My Yahoo!) to view content from our website.
